The 10th anniversary of Brewbies Fest was this past weekend. If you're near San Diego, or the Bay Area and you live under a rock, Brewbies is a festival that focuses on breast health education and support, and combines that with beer! All proceeds are donated to Keep a Breast, and so far this fest has raised over $450,000.

Forty rad breweries from all over California bring a variety of their best, unique, and PINK beers. One of the things I like most about Brewbies is I feel like there are less obnoxious beer snobs present. People loosen up a little bit. No one is throwing a fit because a beer is pink, or there's glitter in it, or it has a name like Sparkle Pony (actual beer by Three Weavers). #makecraftbeerfunagain
This year they really killed it with food. I mean, at least in my opinion. A BYO Mac and Cheese set up, Urbn Pizza (I'm from the east coast, and I give these guys the stamp of approval), gourmet grilled cheese, and a taco truck. One of everything, please. And props for providing filling food that will soak up some of that alcohol.
Brewbies partners with some really cool brands, and they put on a pretty sweet raffle. I've seen a hot tub, cruise, guitar, bass, skateboards, trips, and countless swag bags filled to the brim given away. Speaking of swag bags, if you snag a VIP ticket, not only will you get early access to the festival, but you'll also score a Brewbies tote bag stuffed with goodies.
